Moet&Chandon Rose Vintage 2009 – Box
Maturity, elegance and complexity are the three main qualities that characterize this Grand Vintage Gross. The champagne reproduces the spirit of Moët & Chandon and expresses perfectly the characteristics of the harvest year. In 2009, winter was extremely cold, rainy spring and hot summer, with constant temperatures, conditions that favored optimal ripening of grapes harvested in two stages in September. The variety Pinot Noir (50%) dominates this assembly, in its complement coming the varieties Chardonnay (36%) and Meunier (14%). The champagne is aged for seven years in the cellars of the house and at least six months after the spill.
Smell: Mature and seductive, the bouquet displays hints of vanilla, apricot, peach, coffee, roasted almonds and floral influences.
Taste: Soft aromas of iced lemon peel, pink grapefruit and honey, wrapped in a fine mixture of spices.
Color: Bright straw yellow, with greenish shine.
